Priory Country Park
It is managed, for the benefit of both wildlife and visitors, by Bedford Borough Council as a site for passive recreation, including:
the river, that is about four miles, or just wander and make your own trail.
Visit the Centre with its displays and information, located near the main Barker's Lane entrance car park, open daily. There are free public toilets on the car park end of the building.

There are large meadows that offer a versatile space for children to play, dogs to run,
or just to sit and look at the views without the intrusion of buildings.
Take a walk through our Labyrinth or let the children burn off some energy on the play area.
